Important Notes & Limitations
Audio Availability: The tool can only extract audio if the original Threads post contains a media file with an audio track. Text-only posts or silent videos will return an error.
Expiring Links: The download URLs generated by our tool connect to Meta's Content Delivery Network (CDN) and contain temporary access tokens. You must save the file immediately, as the direct link will expire after a short period.
Intellectual Property: ThrDown is an extraction utility. Users are responsible for respecting the copyright of the original creators. Do not repurpose downloaded music or protected speech for commercial use without permission.
Common Issues (Troubleshooting)
- • No Audio Track: Some videos may appear to have sound but contain no separate audio track, which can result in an empty or failed extraction.
- • Invalid Link: Ensure you are copying the link to a specific post containing media, not a general user profile URL.
- • Private Profiles: This utility can only extract media from public accounts due to strict authentication barriers. For private media, use a Threads private downloader.
- • Deleted Content: If the original author removes the post from Threads, the audio is permanently inaccessible and cannot be fetched.
